  1. She can use an anti-stretch mark creme, avaliable at most drug stores. They range anywhere from $2 to $50, i would say.

    Best of luck to her!

  2. After she has kids, the stretch marks will be the least of her worries.

  3. i know that Vitamin E oil helps a lot. but while you’re pregnant, i really recommend using “Beautiful Belly Balm”. I truly think that is why i didn’t get stretch marks with either child. i applied it three times a day, it has shea and cocoa butter in it. it keeps your skin soft and moist. good luck to her, and don’t worry about stretchmarks! trust me, it will be the last thing on your mind once you have a baby!

  4. try palmers cocoa butter cream they have it specially made for stretch marks

    it works!

it got rid of my sisters stretch marks!

  5. You’re suppose to prevent stretchmarks before forming. Once when you start showing..you should rub coco butter all over your stomach twice a day. That would still help her. Just get her some coco butter or shea butter ASAP!!! Stretch marks usually stay if you dont do anything about it

  6. carols daughter has a stretch mark cream i think!

  7. mederma works well. Nothing will get them completely away but this product helps. Most people who have stretch marks I’m pretty sure would agree. Good luck :0

  8. i hear that there is nothing that you can do once you have them (besides of course this new fangled surgical procedure). but i don’t know about prevention though.. i suppose not having a baby … but other than that …. moisturizer?

  9. yes, make sure u tell her to rub coca-butter on her stomach while she’s pregnant that will help prevent strecth marks and a saggy stomach. she should have start doing this when her stomach began to round.

  10. Most stretch marks will fade– it looks scary now, but if the skin couldn’t stretch like that, she’d explode! Tell her to rub her belly with oil — either baby oil, mineral oil or a good, moisturizing lotion — to keep the skin and the stretch marks supple. That helps them go away better after she gives birth. She’ll probably have a few stretch marks on her breasts if she’s nursing, but those, too, will fade.
Don’t let it scare you — lots of things happen when women are pregnant, but most of them aren’t permanent. Like looking like you swallowed a basketball ( ;-)

  12. Cocoa and Shea butter help reduce the appearance and texture of stretch marks. But they never go completly away. One of the reasons why your friend may have them so severely. Is because she’s scratching her skin. When skin stretches rapidly during pregnancy, it feels very taunt and itchy. And it may sometimes even bleed. So if your friend is scratching her stomach, she’s only tearing and irritating her skin. Which causes sever stretch marks.

You should tell her to either use cocoa or shea butter to relieve the itchiness and discomfort. Or she could try warming up either baby or olive oil and applying it to her skin several times a day or as needed.
